Apply as a Graduate Student
A graduate degree from The King Graduate School offers industry-driven curricula with flexible class schedules to accommodate students in the workforce. Below you can find all the information you need to complete the three step application process correctly and on time.

Application Checklist
1. Submit
- Application. You must submit your application online at monroeu.edu/apply. You'll first create a Monroe ID in your application portal and share key information like your areas of interest.
- Essay. The 500 word essay is your time to shine and communicate why you want to pursue a master's degree and how it will help you achieve your career goals.
- Application Fee. You will be able to submit the $50 application fee online here.
2. Request
- Transcript. You can upload or send your unofficial transcript (from all institutions attended) by email to admtranscript@monroeu.edu to speed up the process.
- Current Resume. Whether it is entry level or years of experience, a resume enables us to evaluate your potential so we can be prepared to help you be that much more marketable.
- Test Optional*. Standardized testing is not required for admission into our masters program. (*The GRE may be required for the MAT program.)
- Letters of Recommendation. You will be able to request 2 letters of recommendation in your admissions portal that will be forwarded to us directly.
3. Interview
- Schedule your interview. We want to hear more about your educational goals, career aspirations, and get to know you better as a person. Your interview with the dean of the graduate school can be in person, by phone or, via Skype.

Foundation Classes
Students who have not completed an undergraduate course in the subject area they are pursuing are required to take a Foundation Class and pass a proficiency test. Foundation Classes are offered before or at the start of a semester and can be taken online or on the weekend. Students are advised as to which classes they may be required to take during the admissions process.
Second Master's Degree Program
