Come Learn about Monroe University! Open House Scheduled on the Bronx Campus for Nov. 2

If you are a prospective student interested in finding out about all the Monroe has to offer, we have two terrific events coming up that you will not want to miss.

On Saturday, November 2nd, our Admissions team is hosting an Open House on the Bronx campus.

It will take place from 10:00 am to noon in King Hall (2501 Jerome Avenue) on the Bronx campus. The Fordham Road stop on the 4 train is one block away, and there’s a municipal parking deck just across the street at Jerome and 190th Street.

A separate Open House will be held on Saturday, November 16th, for those interested in attending Monroe’s New Rochelle campus.

All are welcome. Whether you are a high school senior, transfer student, or working adult looking to continue your education, Monroe looks forward to speaking with you about what the institution has to offer to help you achieve your college and career goals.

We will also have staff available to speak about our program to help students who do not yet have a high school diploma earn their High School Equivalency Diploma while pursuing an Associate degree.

Fully online degree programs are also available to offer students greater flexibility managing their school, home, and work responsibilities.

At the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the campus, learn about academic programs, meet current students, speak with faculty, and even meet with Monroe’s admissions and financial aid teams.

Monroe’s academic leadership, including deans and department heads from various disciplines, will be on hand to speak about the diverse range of Monroe’s degree programs and the University’s warm, personal learning environment designed to help students succeed. They will also focus on the wide range of support programs available at Monroe, from academic advising, tutoring services, and financial aid options to career readiness programs, mental health resources and much more.

“Whether students need help adjusting to university life, navigating coursework, or preparing for their future careers, we have a strong support system to assist them,” said Marc Jerome, president of Monroe University. “We absolutely have our students’ backs!”

Come find out what Monroe has to offer. The Open House is a terrific opportunity to learn what it would be like to be a student at an institution that has been part of the Bronx for more than 90 years and has been nationally recognized for its student outcomes.

See you there!
